As we approach Lunar New Year next week on January 29th, we wanted to remind the community that it will be a homework free day. Additionally, the day is a cultural holiday for many of our students and will be excused for those that are absent to celebrate the day. Parents should notify the schools in advance if your child will be absent due to a cultural celebration.

Due to the low temperatures and expected ice and snow, Cresskill Schools will be closed tomorrow, January 20. All after school practices and activities are canceled. We wish everyone a happy and safe snow day as well as MLK Day!

Woohoo!
We anticipate snow on Sunday, which may impact Monday's schedule. Currently, an early dismissal is planned for Monday so the teachers can participate in professional development in the afternoon. However, if we need to do a delayed opening due to snow, our schedule will shift to follow our two hour delay schedule and school will instead end at our regular time. The professional development for teachers will be rescheduled. This will allow us to get the school day in without using one of our snow days. We will make the decision Sunday evening to ensure adequate notice for Monday.
