Cresskill Middle and High School will be closed for Monday, December 18th due to flooding of the front parking lot. The building remains unaffected. The elementary schools will remain on a delayed opening schedule and follow the delayed opening schedule.
Dr. Hughes shared the following topics in the BOE meeting last evening: Cresskill in the News, positive events in the schools, translation programs for families, and enrollment trends. Here is the presentation: https://shorturl.at/knqI9
Please be advised that we are constructing the flood barriers to protect the building out of a preponderance of caution for the anticipated rain tomorrow.
Come celebrate the retirement of Denise Villani and Mary Klein at the upcoming BOE meeting on December 11th at 6:30 pm in the high school student center. Between the two of them, they put in 27 years of service to benefit the children of Cresskill.
The fifth grade took a field trip to Veolia Water Treat Plant in Haworth today and learned about the process of turning raw water into finished water. Finished water is the water you get when you turn on a faucet in your house.
Today Dr. Mykee spoke to our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders about the importance of being kind to others. He challenged all the students to say hi and smile to 10 people they don't normally speak too.
For those coming to LG, please come to visitor parking close to the flagpoles off of Hudson Terrace (New York Side).

Please join us for an evening of Mindfulness and Breathwork with our Special Guest & Merritt Parent, Ms. Rotem Hornedo! In the spirit of embracing Gratitude and Kindness this month, the HSA
is launching a new fundraiser, RAISE CRAZE. Students will
fundraise to do Acts of Kindness throughout their homes and
communities. This fundraiser will run for 3 weeks and conclude on
Monday, 12/4. We hope this infuses the entire month with the spirit
of thankfulness and goodwill, while students engage in acts of
kindness to support our school enrichment programs and Cresskill
Cares! There are also exciting incentives to encourage
participation: the class with the highest donations will receive a
Pizza Party as a reward AND if the whole school reached their
goal... a school-wide ice cream party!!!
